The Hilo Coast UCC Thrift Store was opened by the Women’s Fellowship in 2021 to replace our popular annual rummage sales which had previously attracted bargain hunters and shoppers island wide. 

 

It has become a vital outreach of our church to the community – and one of the best examples of recycling. Our dedicated crew picks up, sorts, folds, and organizes donations. They welcome newcomers, acknowledge regulars, and contribute generously to those in need. 

Every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the thrift store is buzzing with people from all walks of life, shopping, catching up with neighbors, meeting new people, making connections, finding just the right thing, and buying bargain  items as low as 25¢!
